Role Overview
We need infrastructure that can support a growing AI-enabled SaaS platform without making deployment or operations unnecessarily complex. As a DevOps & Cloud Engineer, you may help us improve containerization, deployment automation, observability, backups, security and capacity planning across our services.
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain reliable deployment workflows for web applications, APIs, workers and AI-related services.
- Build and improve containerized environments using Docker and appropriate orchestration or hosting approaches.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated checks and safer release processes.
- Set up monitoring, logging, alerting, backups and recovery procedures for critical services.
- Improve infrastructure security, secrets management, access controls and environment configuration.
- Investigate performance bottlenecks and help plan capacity for traffic, storage and compute growth.
- Document operational procedures and reduce manual, error-prone infrastructure work.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker and cloud or VPS-based deployment environments.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and managing production application releases.
- Understanding of networking, DNS, TLS, reverse proxies, storage, backups and system security basics.
- Ability to troubleshoot production systems using logs, metrics and structured investigation.
- Experience with infrastructure automation or configuration management.
- Strong awareness of reliability, rollback and disaster-recovery considerations.
- Comfort collaborating asynchronously with developers and technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Kubernetes or lightweight orchestration experience.
- Terraform, Ansible or comparable infrastructure-as-code tooling.
- Experience operating AI inference or GPU/CPU-intensive services.
- Security hardening and observability platform experience.
